Nervousness

I reached a nervousness that I had only reached once before, and that was when I asked my father-in-law if i could even start dating his daughter almost 3 years ago. Though I was utterly nervous and could barely contain myself, God helped me through last night as I, the youth pastor at New Vision Fellowship, got up there and talked to them for the first time as such. He calmed me and provided the words for me to say, God Rocks.
The adult leaders, the student leaders and the students of New Vision are the greatest people in the world.
I was also able to see my brother yesterday. It was really fun to go to lunch with him and just chat. Becky and I hadn't seen him since Thanksgiving so it was really cool to see him. My next step is to see my niece and sister-in-law!

For scheduling things, we are going to have a BBQ the night of Wednesday June 22nd. 6:30 is the start time. Middle School and High School, we will get a sign-up list of things we need you to bring out next week.

Look forward to the High School all-nighter that weekend.
Look forward to a Middle School calendar of events coming soon.

Ah nervousness...

I can remember those days...oh wait I still get 'em. I am so proud of you buddy! You are gonna rock at being a Youth Pastor!!! Through these next few months I really wanna press into you to make good strong connextions not only with your students but also with their parents! (They are the ones who pay your salary!)<-- not that money is the biggest thing.

As well, take your new Sr. Pastor out for lunch a few times and really build up a solid friendship! There is nothing better then a pastoral team that works well together!

I could say loads more, but I just wanna say I cant wait to see you in August. Blessings on you man!

Don't be a stranger!
