4th festivities

Well, I hope all had a great 4th, good times to celebrate, noone blew their arms off with fire works (I hope). I personally had a good 4th. Not only was it the first one I spent with my wife, but we were also able to have her brother stay with us for the weekend, we went hiking and hung out. Some of you might have seen him at Church on Sunday. For the actual 4th we had her parents come down from Tacoma to watch the Portland Beavers have their heads handed to them on home plate by the Tacoma Rainiers. I was sad and disappointed... but really only because I now owe Becky's brother a CD.

As for the group here, we have the Car Wash this Saturday from 10-3. It will be at the Beaverton Resource Center on Allen and Hall (the old library). If you have questions, call me on my cell.
Venture Camp is next week, for all those involved, it will be good fun. For all those not involved... you really should be next year! We will have regular youth groups next week, but it will be much lower key so we can relax.
Thursday, Indy and Michael Millar are trying to get a capture the flag game planned. Call them if you want to be part of it.
