Some things that we learn, we must learn again (occasionally not long after learning it the first time). In talking to my wife today, she had moment that deserved a "Dude! You must chill!" response. I did my best in correctly translating the response to fit this scenario (we don't have jobs yet and Churches are notorious for taking a while in the hiring process) and then responded. So here are the two things that were once learned and then learned again:
My wife is learning to trust in what God has said, and not worry about it.
I am learning how to help my wife in learning this without addressing her as "Dude!"
This isn't easy for either of us. Becky worries about the big things, I worry about the small things, and neither knows how to help the other person through this. Oh married life, we will make it though! I know I'm right and she knows she's right, so together we make one right person!
