I have been absent for a total of 4 days (5 if you include today). It's been a busy time. A sad note is that my Grandma died last Friday. It is sad, but has become more of a stress. I was actually asked to officiate the service this coming Friday. So I will quickly recap some of the things that have happened.
March 16th: It's not easy to hear about a family member dying when you don't think they are a Christian. Makes you pretty sad that you won't get to see them again.
March 17th: Jacob is extremely tiny! I can't believe my chunky daughter used to be that small! It will be tough to leave Paul, Anna, Caleb and Andy. Somewhat of reiterating my lesson from the 14th.
March 18th: The point is not whether we were picked or given complete choice but the fact that Christ died to seek and to save the lost. His dying was for the forgiveness of all sins and it comes down to whether a person accepts that forgiveness. Everything else is just one person's thoughts on what the Bible said, not God's.
I also learned to make sure who is receiving the text message when you send one.
March 19th: Thinking about the ramifications of a funeral service does not help write the message, especially when your family will be there. I also learned how amazing of a wife I have, one who sends me to bed when I'm exhausted.
March 20th: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.

I thought long & hard over the last couple of days of what I could write you. I came up with nothing inspirational or wise, except to say that I love you, I think of your family & your plight(s) often, and I'm praying for you guys.
