St. Paddy's, Brothers and Sisters, St. Paddy's

When I was in high school, I knew the schedule. I knew what time to go and what day worked best. It was great, Thursdays after school we would go to Goodwill and pick through the latest t-shirts just arrived from the Spokane donations. One of these visits, I scored. I got a cool lookin' shirt proudly displaying "St. Paddy's Five" with some pig looking people running it. Upon returning to Spokane, I got the idea to do this run myself. So I did.
A couple of students and I met at the Church as they were starting services and made our way out to SCC where the wind blew and our legs froze. Two other students were there, and they got times that I will not proclaim, as it makes me look pretty bad (good job Nathan and Kendra!).
I took Kate, hoping the sun would pop out, though it never did. She got cold and I had to carry her for about a mile. My arms are just as tired as my legs at the moment.
So we did it. 5 miles. Kate walked a large portion of the track right at the end, she got herself a ribbon (more than I got really, but she deserves it).

On our way to the race.

Trying to stay warm before it starts.

It was a push, but we made it a mile.

Warming at Shadle Bucks afterwards (Annie already had left).

Showing off the cool shirt.

My first race number! (Crinkled of course, that's what racers do, right Tapp?)
