Life

Dear students,

This past year has been exciting. I can’t tell you how amazing it has been to watch all of you take incredible steps in your walk with God; to watch as you grow in faith. I am so proud of all of you, of the questions you ask, and of the way you challenge each other to go deeper. In so many ways, each of you has also helped me and challenged me to strive to have a stronger relationship with Christ. It is because of this that I find myself having a difficult time writing this letter to you all.

Becky and I have spent many many nights in prayer and earnest listening for what God wants for our lives. Many of you know that my mom is sick. That her disease prevents her from doing things like working, and even at times, thinking clearly. So we want to be closer to her and the rest of our family.

In our many days and nights of praying, we feel God calling us back to Washington. We have a lot of family and friends in the Spokane area, including my parents and so we will be moving to Spokane the end of June.

This has certainly not been an easy decision, Becky and I truly love each and every one of you. We really feel it is God’s call on us to move. If you have any question for us or want to talk to us, we would be more than happy to do so.

My hope and prayer for you all is that you allow God to continue the great work he has started in you, that you continue to grow and that you continue to strive to be more like Him. We thank you so much for how you have touched our lives.

Pastor Matt

If that's where you feel God needs you then by all means go. I hope you guys can help your Mom as well as you are able.
